My name is Brent. AKA, Ishmann. I have been playing Table Top RPGs for a long time. I have never played PBM games though. I would love to try it out!

I am coming into this with no knowledge about where to start or what to do. Any help and guidance would be appreciated.

First, decide if you want to play PBM games that are actually played via the postal service, or whether you want to try one where you receive your turns via electronic mail or via some kind of Web interface. Which way you go on that one will help to determine what your range of choices are.

Then, you might want to decide what kind of genre that you prefer? Space game? Fantasy game? Sports game? Etc.

Well, you will have fewer options, if you go the postal service route - but, only because there's not a lot of companies that still utilize the postal option.

Somehow or other, I missed your posting, and am just now reading it.

Let me see what I can find out about which fantasy games are still run via the postal service.
