No the whole unit would be armed with both weapons types:

Unit 4 BDG 50 MI/LM
Unit 5 CUR 50 MI/LM
Unit 6 SCN/M 300 MI
Unit 7 SCT/7/8/1 90 LI/LM
Unit 8 SCT/6/0/2 90 LI/LM
Unit 9 SCT/5/4/3 90 LI/LM
Basically a player would need to purchase double the weapons types to outfit the units.
