Hey all,

The forum must have changed or something, because I had to remake my account, but no worries.

I'm a member of the generation that grew up with ubiquitous computer games: MUDs and eventually video games, so my PBEM experience is necessarily limited.

Diplomacy is how I was introduced to the genre, then soon after I dabbled with RTG's SN:ROTE for several months. Modern games tend to lack a depth and ability to hold my interest the PBM genre can, so I'm still on the lookout for the next great game.

It was due to a database issue. The older databases on file would not restore. It was due, I think, to two different versions of the software getting jumbled together, in a roundabout sort of way.

Been absent the past couple weeks, but I'm still here!

The semester is approaching a close and I am finally graduating, and my several research projects have been consuming all my time. I should get back to my frequently posting self by the first or second week of May.

Welcome back. I'm back, too, it seems. ISP issues for me.
