I have converted the original game, have run the Boda as the GM and supplied the version that Zan ran. I have no idea what Davin plans to do with the Boda, but I would change what you have above, slightly if I were involved.
I would get rid of the "bonus" for siege (it duplicates the original intention of skills - if Davin implements the level version, then just get a Siege-3 or some such at start. The faction bonus was originally intended to differentiate the factions - Boda originally had a plus for combat if I remember it right. So they could field field forces that rivaled the Imperials - mostly ground troops. Calvary must have been a Zan add.
Those are the original goals of the Boda, but they may need rework if Davin alters the map significantly. Also, if he reduces or changes the other starting factions.
The Boda were not merchants or farmers and generally disdained manual labor. So, I don't know how that works being siege engineers - they would not enjoy building siege engines for example.
Just my two-cents worth - I have no say if how Davin chooses to implement his version of Midgard. I have been working on another game (more 18th century with magic).
