A Bandit clan had the special perk of being able to Ambush another clan in a combat setting.
For skills the ones that were worked out were:
PCB - Personal Combat
TRK - Tracking
STW - Streetwise
DIS - Disguise
To the world and the rest of the game, the clan appeared to be just another Independent clan. When the clan assumed 'Bandit Mode' and took on a clan name alias it's name would change as well as it appeared as a declared Bandit clan. The above skills did help to roleplay this clan better, and give both in game and out of game fun.
I know that the GM wishes to set up the Bandits as the Big Bad Boogiemen of the game, but it would be so much more fun to allow players to also join in as well too. Most targets in previous versions of the game were NPC targets but it was extremely 'fun' to hit another player in game. Even though Midgard was a Wargame, it was fun seeing 'experienced' players loose their shirts because they did 'not' set up all their combat settings properly! Oh what fun, and excitement to raid some well established clan with my much smaller Bandit clan. Catch me if you can...'Savoir-Faire (Sabwafare) is everywhere'. Hahaha any you Old Timers out there remember me, or care to speak up about any of our encounters? Hopefully I will be coming to a city near you soon!

Ever dance with the Dark Man, by the pale moon light? If you do risk it, it will be the last time you ever will.
