The key with all factions is to have a balance of advantages and disadvantages. Also set up a base level of acceptance between various factions. I could see the SOA pretty much neutral with all factions being all about making money as a mercenary and not really wanting to be more than slightly liked or hated by any faction as it might hurt them in the long run. The Banner I see as being neutral with Gift and Ring, and totally hostile to any other religious groups. Not really being on good terms with any group not strongly supporting their beleifs.
