PBM Breaking News: Midgard

Site user Walter sends word to me that the game moderator of Midgard has told him that they are halfway through re-programming of that game. The GM, Ali, is hopeful that they will be up and running, soon.

Midgard is a great game and one of the true power games of PBM. I played briefly back in 1986 and the last 3 or 4 years as it has struggled to make its comeback. Andy and Ali, since taking over the game over a year ago, have put enormous time and resource into programming the game and upgrading the maps and rulebook. Once the restart is announced this is a game worth looking into. There is an active website that interested gamers can check out. I'm delighted that they're updating it and bringing it back. Midgard was one of the seminal games in PBM, often imitated, never equaled.
