Submission Deadline for Issue # 4: February 20th, 2014

What if there was no issue # 4??

What if no one wrote articles? What if no one submitted anything?

Where would we all be? Where would PBM be?

Once more, the horn sounds - summoning one and all to submit your original fare to Suspense & Decision magazine, so that we can keep things moving along in the form of a new issue - issue # 4.

Help us to continue marching forward. Aid your fellow gamer, by sending us something for them to read, for them to have something to sink their teeth into, when the next issue arrives.

Reception to the new magazine has been overwhelmingly positive. Thus, why not enter the article fray, now, while this publication still stands on the cusp of newness?

Our colors have been raised! We continue the tradition. Turn-based gaming is in our blood. You know the feeling. It's in your blood, also.

Lay claim to the pages that await your voice! Seize the moment! Submit that article! Send in that submission.

Hate that game? Give it Hell! Love that game? Praise it from the rooftops!

How can you have nothing to say, when so many are so anxiously listening, hoping against hope that you do, in fact, have something to say?

I only created this thread, just today. However, progress on issue # 4 is proceeding rather rapidly.

I'm not talking just about in terms of having an initial article submitted, already, either.

Rather, we have no less than three articles ready to go, received and fully edited - and an additional "item," to boot. This doesn't count two draft articles that I have already caught a glimpse of, or an interview that is already in the process of being fulfilled.

Oops! I forgot about another article, which I still need to edit, yet. I did make certain that it was placed in the issue # 4 article folder, though, where it awaits me taking the editing chisel to it, for formatting purposes.

Well, one more day until the submission deadline for issue # 4. I am hopeful that some interviews that were expected will come in. Otherwise, issue # 4 is looking to be a tad on the thin size.

I guess that I should start writing, huh?

If anyone has a bone to toss this way, on the article front, now would be a good time to give it a throw.

I wonder if anybody would notice, if we skipped an issue. Hmmm...I might could write an article about that.

There's so much silence out there. Fortunately, another article was in my in-box, this morning. Oh, joyous day!

Maybe what they prefer are thin issues. Is that what the masses want? Wafer-thin issues? The Mad Scientist of PBM is silent. The front cover art has not yet arrived. Will we pull this issue off?

Probably.

Well, I received a look of the front cover for issue # 4, just a short while ago. It's still a work in progress, but I'm liking what I see, so far.

Anybody else want a peek at it? No? Nobody??

Very well, then. I guess that you will all just have to wait.

The front cover artwork for Issue # 4 is done and in hand.

The issue is mostly compiled, already, though not entirely. I have a few more items to add to it, since there may be some stragglers sending me stuff at the proverbial last minute.

Not everyone who wanted, or who may have wanted, to have an ad appear in issue # 4 has gotten back to me, yet. I'm just hoping that I haven't overlooked something, unintentionally.

The wait, now, for issue # 4 is down to a couple of days or so. In the old days, when a PBM magazine had an issue published, there was still some wait time between when they published it at the publisher, and when it arrived in your mailbox. Now, as soon as I finalize it, upload it, and post a link announcement about it, one can quickly grab a copy. It arrives as quickly in Europe, as it does here in the United States. It definitely doesn't take the slow boat to China, in making its way to you, our readers, once we finalize things on our end.

My assistant editor has been quiet, of late. I'm not sure what's up with that. He might simply be extra-busy, though. Regardless, we're going full steam ahead with Issue # 4.
