Siege Weapons

Ok here are the (3) main types of Siege weapons for the game.

Light Siege Weapons: Ballista (made in Armories and increased by Boda Factional office)
Medium Siege Weapons: Catapult (made in the Armories and increase by the Boda Factional office)
Heavy Siege Weapons: Trebuchet (not produced on the normal city markets, need to be constructed on site of the siege site)

We also have Siege Towers , and Cover Battering Rams are also considered to be Heavy Siege Weapon types as well too, and they too must be built on site of the siege. Now I know from previous versions of the game if you had the Siege - SGE and Siege Weapons - SGW skills of a certain level (5) you had the knowledge to build these Heavy Siege Weapon types. (SGE-5, SGW-5). This is another reason why the Skill System was of use within the game, not many clans had these skills so they couldn't effectively build these weapons and use them effectively.

Ok I have to speak up about this. Why do the Boda who are a Horse Warriors, also get Siege Weapons. I would think many of the benefits that the different factions have do NOT make sense at all. Speaking for realism I feel that the Imperials should have the following skills: CMD - Command, SGE - Siege warfare, and SGW - Siege weapons. They should be the Mexa nasty Big Box faction. Now the Boda I feel they should be re-worked, and they should have the skills of CMD- Command, STR-Strategy, and TAC-Tactics. They should drop the Mounted stuff but they should get the added benefit of building HM - Heavy Missile and their Boda Offices in cities should add them to city markets. Likewise I feel the Imperials should add Heavy Siege Weapons to markets that have the Imperial Offices to a market. Basically the Boda would have a fighting chance against the Imperials, but the Imperials would still have the advantage especially with a siege of a city.

Now before the Roder folks start screaming, I believe the Roder should become the Mega Mounted warriors of the game. Basically Mounted Heavy Infantry, Mounted Medium Infantry, and Mounted Medium Missile. They would be the supreme mounted fighting force that could have extreme mobility and heavy hitting fighting force that can react very well. Also the Roder offices besides increasing the production of food sources on a city market, but could also add Combat Heavy War Horses that would add to a mount units effectiveness in battle. The Boda and Roder would have benefits that would make them a real bad arse factions to play. They could challenge the Imperials but in the long run the Imperials would have better combat bonus. Now the Roder skills could be STR-Strategy, MTC-Mounted Tactics, and AGR-Agriculture.

Now the Getham are not really warriors, but they are Deep Pockets thieves(Merchants) that can hire or REC-Recruit warriors to join them as well as ADM-Admin and MER-Merchant skills that are far better suited to run cities(Papers and Paycheck - money lenders). Now the Barbarians another Big Box faction should also have such skills as SGE, SGW, and TAC. They should be able to construct arm their units without have to buy the weapons from markets. I would like to see them be dual armed like LI/LM, and MI/LM weapon types, and they could also construct their ship types of Long Ships or Great Long Ships for their clansmen to be able to use to embark on. Honestly this would put a fear into the Barbarian faction again that would be something to deal with. Also the real Barbarians from history really didn't do sea battles but instead did land battles.

Now I am only really talking about combat based stuff, not the rest of the factional stuff that these above listed factions could also have as well too. By flushing out these factions slightly better, you would put a lot more fun into them, I feel it would add real life to them and making more players wanting to really play them more.
