Company Commander, the war beckons...
#1
The original Company Commander was definitely a game that appealed to the inner Rambo that existed in all of us 80s kids with a yen for military adventure. Now, close to three decades later and having actually experienced some military adventures for real, I find myself drifting back to this human moderated wargame with roleplaying elements.

It's interesting in this post Cold War multi-polar world, with the rise of commercial security/mercenary outfits and large areas experiencing political instability, that this game dealing with soldiers of fortune seeking to conquer/stabilize terriitory in such a region would have more precience now than it did then.

This version of the game comes with color maps detailing the geography of the territory on different levels. Also, you have a thorough rulebook, and the weapons catalogue which starts out at a considerably lower tech level than the previous game (no M1 Abrams in here, that probably can come later).

So...Colonel Tiberius Abrams surveys this land, this land of blood, tears and possibilities.
