Rest in peace, The Isles v2 - ravenzachary - 10-04-2019 I had an enjoyable time playing for two months. The GM has decided to end the game. I will be writing an article about my experience for S&D Issue #20. It is always sad to see a PBM end. Human-run PBMs are fragile, and this is always a risk that players must face when joining a game that is not automated. Thank you to Roy Pollard for running the game. I am glad I had the opportunity to participate. RE: Rest in peace, The Isles v2 - ravenzachary - 03-25-2021 I touch upon my experience with The Isles in my new article on the Suspense & Decision blog: https://suspense-and-decision.com/2021/03/25/in-search-of-perfection-postmortem-examinations-on-the-path-to-play-by-mail-immortality/ RE: Rest in peace, The Isles v2 - GrimFinger - 03-25-2021 I read it. It was an enjoyable read. A good, lengthy read. RE: Rest in peace, The Isles v2 - Davin - 03-26-2021 I agree - keep up the good work, Raven. |
