This is an archive of all the old issues of The General, as far as I can tell.
The General was the house organ of Avalon Hill -- the first big publisher of wargames, the biggest precursor to the PBM movement. There might be mention of PBM stuff in some of these. There is absolutely mention of playing wargames by mail -- how to do it, how to find opponents, etc.
